His research is aimed at contributing to sustainable development for a better future that is not at the expense of the environment and biodiversity. The amount of money will be used 'to digitize data on human-wildlife conflicts over the past 10 years in Tanzania. Such a database provides us insight into trends in human-wildlife conflict through time and identifies hotspots of human-wildlife conflict in Tanzania. This insight is the first step reducing these conflicts'
